Name & Gender-Marker Changes
-
You can change your legal name or gender-marker to have accurate legal identification. The Oregon legislature passed HB2673 in 2017, which simplified the name and gender-marker change process in the state. This was Oregon’s first stand-alone transgender justice law. The CLEAR Clinic can help you through the legal process of changing your name or gender-marker.
